Abstract:
»The article asks how sexualized violence is dealt with in the German Educational Research Association (GERA/DGfE) and the discipline of Educational Science and characterizes this as eloquent silence. The focus is on three aspects in particular: Firstly, the article fundamentally reflects on the problem of silence and presents theoretical considerations on it. Secondly, it identifies structural patterns in how the German Educational Research Association (GERA/DGfE) deals with sexualized violence and, thirdly, asks for criteria for answering the question of whether the topic of sexualized violence has structurally arrived in the discipline and makes suggestions in this regard. The question of structures for dealing with sexualized violence is thus developed in two ways, both retrospectively and prospectively.«
